Who We Are

Daniel (“Dan”) T. Jones, CPA has been in finance and management for over forty years. Dan along with Paul Clough founded Fresnel Partners in 2011. Dan provides business, tax and financial planning, and management advisory services to privately owned growth companies, their owners, and high-wealth individuals. Mr. Jones’s clients include businesses ranging from start-ups to $50 million in revenue in a variety of industries including manufacturing and wholesale, retail, contracting, real estate, and professional services. Prior to Fresnel Partners, Dan was involved in founding several entrepreneurial adventures including JNJ Group, a developer of both commercial and residential real estate projects, and Financial Structures Limited, a company that developed a unique and highly successful business of guarantying commercial real estate and other commercial transaction in order to facilitate the financing of those transactions by banks, investment banks, REITs, and other lenders and investors. Dan began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick where he was a partner in the financial services practice. Dan holds a B.S., with honors, in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dan has served in a wide variety of leadership roles at Morrisville Presbyterian Church. Dan has served on the Board of Directors of Snipes Farm and Education Center and the Ivins House Resource and Referral Center.
